In addition to his experience in municipal government, Voorhees
Associates Vice President Steve Veitch has served two prominent
national law firms in various executive capacities. In these
roles he has been involved in recruitment of attorneys at middle
and senior experience levels. Other Voorhees Associates

Utility Management Recruitment
Voorhees Associates Vice President Doug Williams has over 35
years of experience in the management of electric utilities.
He served as President of the Illinois Municipal Utility
Association and spearheaded a successful effort to enact a state
statute which authorized creation of the Illinois Municipal
Electric Agency, a joint action agency that now provides wholesale
electricity to 33 public power systems. Steve Veitch also has
electric utility management experience, as well as experience
working with utilities through a utility management consulting
firm. He was a participant in the formation of a joint action
agency established for the benefit of public power entities in
Arizona. Together, Doug and Steve offer a unique range of
experience in electric utility management.
